ABOUT Olga GonzÁlez

Olga is a member of the Otomí Nation of Mexico and the proud mother of three children, who inspire and ground her work each day. Her commitment to this work is deeply rooted in honoring the wisdom, sacrifices, and resilience of her ancestors while creating pathways for healing across generations and among people and communities. She sees her work as an offering to those who came before her and a responsibility to those who will come after—cultivating stronger leaders, healthier organizations, and thriving communities for generations to come.

Guided by ancestral wisdom and a deep commitment to the seven generations to come, Olga seeks to create meaningful change that honors where we come from, strengthens how we care for one another today, and helps shape a more connected and purposeful future.

Olga González brings a powerful blend of lived experience and multifaceted expertise to her life’s work, seamlessly weaving together her journeys as a nonprofit executive, grassroots community organizer, national consultant, executive coach, and holistic wellness practitioner. With over 30 years of frontline experience, she masterfully bridges strategic thinking with deep, on-the-ground community organizing.

Olga serves as the Executive Director of Cultivando, an organization that works to uplift the leadership of the community to promote healthy people and environments through education, collaboration, and social change. In this role, she pioneered Colorado’s first independent, community-led air monitoring project in the nation’s most polluted neighborhood, successfully holding polluters and government agencies accountable to protect both ecological health and the families directly impacted.

Recognized widely for her transformative leadership and profound community impact, Olga has received numerous awards and prestigious honors. She was named one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and has shared her expertise on global platforms like TEDx. Her dedication to systemic growth is further reflected in her select fellowships and scholarly appointments, including serving as a Livingston Fellow with the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, a Piton Fellow, an IRISE Visiting Scholar at the University of Denver, and a participant in the Art of Leadership for Climate Justice Leaders Program through the Rockwood Leadership Institute, Climate Equity Fund, and Hive Fund.

Deeply informed by traditional Indigenous Mexican Otomí lineages and practices, she weaves profound cultural wisdom into her wellness sessions and retreats. Her restorative work masterfully integrates mindfulness, somatic movement, sound baths, and other time-honored traditional practices to guide leaders, advocates, and communities toward deep, sustainable transformation and collective well-being.

The Meaning Behind La Sabia Consulting

La Sabia Consulting derives its name from the Spanish phrase meaning “the wise woman” or “the one who knows.” For me, this name is not just a brand—it is a powerful synthesis of my life’s journey and a reflection of the deep well of wisdom I bring to my clients, communities, and partners.

My life’s work is guided by a singular, foundational philosophy: Rooted in wisdom. Grounded in healing. Rising in purpose.

This philosophy anchors the four distinct pillars of knowledge I bring to every collaboration:

Driven by Purpose, Not Just Career: Helping Others Rise

For me, this labor is never just a job or a career—it is a profound calling. I believe that true leadership development and organizational transformation must go deeper than tasks, outputs, and bottom lines. My deepest passion is walking alongside individuals, advocates, and organizational teams to help them strip away burnout and misalignment so they can find and step into their true purpose. When leaders operate from a place of clear alignment and deep connection to their calling, their impact becomes boundless.

The Foundation: Self-Care and Community Care as Business Vitality

At the heart of my practice is a profound commitment to self-care and community care, recognizing that they are not separate pursuits, but deeply intertwined necessities. We cannot build healthy organizations or thriving businesses from a place of depletion. True organizational transformation happens when leaders and teams are supported to care for themselves and one another. By embedding sustainable wellness, somatic regulation, and collective care into our organizational cultures and business models, we build the resilience needed to achieve long-term, systemic impact. I guide institutions to operate from this place of wholeness, proving that prioritizing our well-being is the ultimate catalyst for organizational excellence and sustainable success.
